Welcome to Realty Solutions!
As the real estate industry evolves, so do the educational standards for property practitioners. Here’s a brief overview of the latest requirements to help you stay ahead in your career.

What is required in order to apply for my first candidate FFC with the PPRA?
Realty Solutions offers FFC Application Services.
(We send you all blank copies of all the documents that are required for your FFC application)

The required documents are:

  • Certified ID copy (not older than 3 months)
  • PPRA application form
  • Letter of employment

Furthermore, Realty Solutions assists with the collation of your required documents and handle the entire application process on your behalf. You receive your FFC certificate from Realty Solutions via email in a matter of days.

Updated Qualifications
Starting from July 1, 2024, the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has introduced new qualifications:

  • NQF Level 4: The previous SAQA ID 59097 is now replaced by SAQA ID 118714.
  • NQF Level 5: The previous SAQA ID 20188 is now replaced by SAQA ID 121691.

Key Changes

  1. Logbook Submission: The PPRA will no longer accept physical logbook submissions after June 30, 2024. If your logbook is due after this date, your principal must co-sign a letter that must be submitted to the PPRA via email to logbooks@theppra.org.za
  2. Qualification Compliance:

If your FFC was issued BEFORE 1 July 2024 you must:

  • Complete your logbook and submit a letter of completion to the PPRA signed by yourself and your principal;
  • If you have not already completed, or been exempted from the NQF4, you will now need to complete the new 118714: Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent qualification (Replacement qualification for the old NQF4);
  • Write your External Summative Assessment Exam (EISA Exam);
  • After completing the these steps, you will be eligible to write your Professional Designation Examination Level 4 (PDE4);
  • Once all the above steps are completed, and your PPRA profile has been updated, you will be classified as a Non-Principal Property Practitioner.

If your FFC was issued AFTER 1 July 2024 you must:

  • If you have not already completed, or been exempted from the NQF4, you will now need to enroll for the new 118714: Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent qualification (Replacement qualification for the old NQF4);
  • Complete your PPRA Workplace Training Modules – These modules are a part of the 118714: Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent qualification that is completed as on-the-job training over a period of 6 months;
  • Write your External Summative Assessment Exam (EISA Exam);
  • After completing these three steps, you will be eligible to write your Professional Designation Examination Level 4 (PDE4);
  • Once all the above steps are completed, and your PPRA profile has been updated, you will be classified as a Non-Principal Property Practitioner.
