The table below will guide you through the steps of becoming a qualified Non-Principal Property Practitioner if you do not hold any degrees or diplomas and your FFC was registered after the 1st of July 2024.

After completing steps 1 – 4 you are now a qualified Non-Principal Property Practitioner |
To become a Principal Property Practitioner the following steps, need to be taken: | |||
5. | Enrol with an accredited training provider to complete your NQF5 qualification. (Registration forms sent on request) | NQF5 from R8500 / NQF5 RPL from R4500 | 3 – 6 months |
6. | Register for the Professional Designated Exam Level 5 (PDE5). This can only be completed once your logbook has been submitted, you have been found competent for your NQF4, written the PDE4 exam and completed the NQF5 qualification. | R5800 This includes registration fee, study guides, prep course and ongoing assistance from Realty Solutions. | 6 – 8 weeks |
The timeframe from registering as a Candidate Property Practitioner (Intern) to becoming a non-Principal Property Practitioner (Full Status Estate Agent) is 12 – 18 months.
