How to qualify as a Non-Principal Property Practitioner – Full Process

The table below will guide you through the steps of becoming a qualified Non-Principal Property Practitioner if you do not hold any degrees or diplomas and your FFC was registered after the 1st of July 2024.

Apply for your Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC).

2. 

Register for and complete the new
118714: Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent through Realty Solutions.

This comprises of 3 components being knowledge, practical and workplace experience.

We provide a PPRA workplace training kit within the qualification.

Write your (External Integrated Summative Assessment) EISA exam.

4.

Register for the Professional Designated Exam Level 4 (PDE4). This can only be completed once you have been found competent in the OC: Real Estate Agent qualification and you have written the EISA exam.

6 – 8 weeks

After completing steps 1 – 4 you are now a qualified Non-Principal Property Practitioner

To become a Principal Property Practitioner the following steps, need to be taken:

Enrol with an accredited training provider to complete your NQF5 qualification.

Register for the Professional Designated Exam Level 5 (PDE5). This can only be completed once your logbook has been submitted, you have been found competent for your NQF4, written the PDE4 exam and completed the NQF5 qualification.

6 – 8 weeks

The timeframe from registering as a Candidate Property Practitioner (Intern) to becoming a non-Principal Property Practitioner (Full Status Estate Agent) is 12 – 18 months.
